Quite sure you have 2 weeks to be able to change your mind on the office swap, but on the whole do not be dis heartened things will get easier for you I'm sure.

keep all you bus tickets, royal mail used to get a driver to take you back to office after delivery, unless due to budget constraints it doesnt happen.
First few weeks are difficult, but eventually things settle, but royal mail is on the budget save mode

Very Verynearly walked today, came in at 7.30 and still had all my prepping to do, not sure how long im gonna stick this for now

When you come in to an unprepped , or part prepped frame. Then tell them that you will only work to x point. So, you are cutting off.

If not ; then leave if that suits

don't worry about that mate ive been here nearly 12 months now and still have days like that when I don't know the frame you will get quicker. Trust me if i am last out the door i aint last back in you just get quicker its down to experience of things

I know it's hard but just tell them that you won't work beyond your time. You are well within your rights to do so.
And then only take out with you enough to complete to your time.

Also. DO NOT use your car. They are responsible to get you to your delivery point. If they have done the revisions. They are also responsible to get you back. And at the right time.

Speak to the local union rep. Tell him the issue. He will keep you straight.

I think most of us have been there. I remember my first Christmas was like that. I had the worst walk in the office. One of the reps who signed for it (because I was off the week before) for me actually apologised to me and said he didn't realise I'd have to have to have it for all of Christmas. No more rooms for packets on the frame and didn't start the walk until 12pm and was out some days until 4pm. But... it does get better!
