Extended delivery round up or down ?

When you do extended delivery on your round , say 1 hour and 10 minutes do you :-
1/ round it up to 1 hour 30 minutes
2/ book 1 hour and carry 10 mins over to the next day and add it to that.
3/ put the exact time down

Only reason I ask is that people in my delivery office all say one of these

Whatever I agree with the manager before I leave the office, or the exact time if its caused by an unavoidable and unseen circumstance before departure.

1h 10m is just that isnt it? how can/should you round it up to 1h 30m?

Whatever the managers is going to pay me, by my reckoning, if i cut off 1hrs work it will cost him 2-3 hrs to get someone to do it, so I usually get 1.5 - 2hrs for it

Our DOM doesn't sort it out beforehand and we wouldnt know anyway until we finished how long it would take anyway .
In our office we write it down when we leave the office after our round after we have brought all our stuff back to the cage .
The DOM is always gone home anyway.

We generally round our's up to the next 1/4hr, so we would book 1 hour 15 min in your case.
We NEVER round down

Without pre-authorisation all you should book is the time it takes...to the minute.

umm book to the minute otherwise its fraud. You also get paid to the minute on your wage slip so... makes sense

In my office you have to estimate what OT you are going to need and then when you're finished, you book whatever it takes you, keep it really simple and you'll not get into trouble if some manager decides you're trying to defraud RM.

The best I have come accross at my place is 7 hours pay for 2hrs work.

Oh, it's with the lino's blessing ! He wants all extended overtime rounded to the next 1/4 hr, so when he totals it for the daily office amount,
it's easier to add up

My lino works in a parallel universe where time stands still.
I always do the rounding up for him and have to check and re-check my hours are correct.
