I believe privatisation is likely to massively increase the chance of me going down a grade from the temporary grade I am on. Also increase the chances of me losing my job, but I believe privatisation is best for the County and the tax payers, so it is a no srike for me. For the greater good!

I thought within Royal Mail Letters there was only 1 grade represented by the CWU - OPG and its equivalents. The Only Union that has officially stated they are balloting is the CWU.

The CMA are not yet balloting but they do have different grades.

I believe that if you are an acting manager then the CWU in some branches have rules that you can no longer be a member, I hope you have done the honourable thing and resigned from the CWU, if not thanks for the subs but I don't think the Union can represent you so your wasting your money.

If you are not an acting manager than my knowledge is lacking and perhaps I need some education - please provide such if indeed this is the case.

LA1s are a CWU grade (although the CWU seem to forget this sometimes - quote from our ex-area rep on the subject of LAs: "I only care about blue shirts") It's not unknown for OPGs to temporarily cover LA1 jobs in a Mail Centre. No idea if that's what bobington meant though

I think the confusion comes from me saying 'it is a no vote for me' I didn't mean it any forth coming ballet, I just meant in this poll. I am not in a union.
