Final Insult.

Some of you may have read a previous topic I posted a few weeks ago titled 5 years later. Basically i told of leaving Royal Mail due to being told repeatedly I would be advanced to full time (including in my initial interview in 2007) and this never happening, among other things. I havent been off work or late at RM in 5 years. My DOM explained his deep regret when I handed my notice in telling me I was one of his best workers and he was gutted at my leaving. I know all duties and would be missed. I handed my notice in, said my goodbyes and did everything by the book. He explained I would receive any accrued outstanding leave owed today (9.11.12) any overtime I had worked and any bits and bats as he put it. HR said this was correct. I received my final wage slip yeterday and my take home pay on leaving RM was exactly £0.00 On informing HR I was told they knew nothing of my departure from RM. When I contacted my ex DOM he said he did not know he had to inform them by e-mail with my details I had left. How were they supposed to find out? I asked my ex DOM to contact them with my details and put my final wage owed through so I would get it today. I asked him to contact me when he had arranged this. I havent been contacted or paid. For a while after leaving the company I thought to myself "have I done the right thing?" After all its not a bad job, the postmen/women I have met over the years have been great, not just at my office but at all the locations I have worked at. But what happened was a swift reminder of the way RM operates. I have done the right thing by leaving. I have tried to contact my ex DOM today but had no answer. Wether I get my final pay remains to be seen, but what a sorry end to finish what I thought would be my "ideal job."

You need to email Moya and advise that an ET1 will be filed for wages notpaid.

ask your manager for his full name and address since you will be taking him to a small claims court, that will s**t him up and maybe get on with paying you

How much holiday had you taken from your allowance since the start of April?

When you leave your holiday is based from the start of April till your leave date not the end of March.
Just checking because some people don't realise this.

If you had taken more they could be clawing it back from your wage
