Did anyone get one of these surveys to complete or was it just the bosses pets?
I got my hands on one, suffice to say it doesn't reflect well on management.

It's not a Royal Mail initiative, it's a Sunday Times survey.
Only a few, no doubt carefully chosen, people got them in our office. Think I'll ask if I can have one (managers don't know I was acquired one) to see what they say

It's an external survey, yes, but it said on the form that Royal Mail had put itself forward for the 'award'(?) and that staff were therefore being asked to fill out the forms. Funny thing is, one of the bits you had to fill out was a section that said something along the lines of this: "Please tell us why you feel that Royal Mail is a GREAT workplace." I did laugh when I read that part. Then I showed the missus. She said, "Are they for real?" and shook her head. I then stopped laughing and filled it out truthfully.
