Frozen shoulder

Has anyone suffer with this or have had it in the past?
My shoulder of left arm that I hold the bundles in during my round and use to throw off has started to be painfull for the last 2 weeks and someone said it could be a frozen shoulder .
It hurts to lift my arm up above chest height and get pain when throwing off mail especially on the top 2 rows.
Also if I roll on my shoulder during the night it can be painful.
I have been taking IBUPROFEN whilst at work which helps with throwing off but the pain returns during my round.
Haven't been to the doc yet but does this sound like a frozen shoulder?

Sounds exactly like it. Had it for a year or so, just keep taking the pills and give it as much rest as poss.

A lot of the lads in my office stand on a up turned tray to throw the top 2 rows off

Get to a doc, get it checked out and get physio. Sooner it's seen to, sooner you'll recover.

To the doctor. Gives you prescription for pills which loosen the muscles. Take pills for about 3 weeks each day although noticeable difference in movement in only 3 days. Need the prescription pills for cure. Could do youre own exercises, I wasnt told to do any. Good luck, my arm was stuck fast to my side when I gave in and went to the doctors.

they wont give you muscle relaxants anymore....apparently only for slipped discs.

my lower back is very tense atm making it hard to cattu a bag without pain .....even with just a bundle in the bag!!!

Don't prep the mail in sequence, spread the mail over your desk and then take a bit for the top, a bit on the middle, a bit on the bottom, bit to the left and a bit to the right (and then you can shale it all about), just make sure you are not just doing it all in a row because your shoulders will start to go.

I had frozen shoulder last year. Couldnt sleep on that side, fold my arms, or lift my arm above head. My cure :
Stand arms length from a wall, rest your hand, arm straight, on the wall and step up to the wall forcing you hand to slide up. Gently does it because it HURTS !!
Do the same standing sideways and sidestep up to the wall. After a week or so of doing this every day my shoulder freed up. Ticketyboo now.

had frozen shoulder for 7 months up until April then went to doc only got anti - inflam. tablets didnt help , believe it or not got 8 sessions of physio and accupuncture courtesy of RM a lot better but still can t play golf and still feel it an odd time

im not a doctor but its exactly what i was suffering from for a while, i couldnt move it above my shoulder. i went to see the doctor who told me i had ''impingement syndrome''. he said frozen shoulder is much much worse and you wouldnt be able to lift you,re arm hardly at all without being in agony. i was sent to physio for 8 weeks and given exercises to do. it eventually subsided but its still there.,,,,,i particularly found the physical massage by the young nurse physio very helpful.

Find yourself someone who can do accpressure, It will go with two lots of treatment.
I kown a good one in B S E postcode IP32
