We had a revision for Park and Loop at our office this year the pairing was Part Timers & Full Timers just been having a conversation today with other staff members about the floaters and the question is “If you’re a full time driver floater and a full time driver walk holder leaves can that driver floater go for his/her walk as long as they are next in line seniorority wise“?

Any vacant job should go to the most senior reserve for a period not exceeding 6 months before being advertised in the orifice.
If you mean can someone drop driving and pick up a walking duty?
Depends on the orifice driving/non driving resource but technically yes.

just to add to this point if you are in a smaller office with 20 or less staff vacancies should be advertised straight away

if its a full office repick you arent all stick on the duties for 12 months thats only if its a vacant duty advertised

It was a full office resign we have all been on these duty's for three months now but a walk holder is thinking of leaving at Christmas and the floater is adamant he can go for this walk, realistically the floater don't have a walk as such so why can't he go for it that's my arguement.

It was a full office resign we have all been on these duty's for three months now but a walk holder is thinking of leaving at Christmas and the floater is adamant he can go for this walk, realistically the floater don't have a walk as such so why can't he go for it that's my arguement.

i think the floater should be able to go for it but they might not get it a more senior person might get it .
