Royal Mail managers.....about as popular as a t.urd in a swimming pool!
The DDA/Equality Act demands action,NOT words......adjustments NOT Occupational Health referrals.Case No:2505901/09
Royal Mail is an Equal Opportunities Employer..It discriminates against everybody.

Re: is it worth going to my interview?
I would say it depends on your circumstances and how badly you want to get out of your current job. RM generally initially give short term contracts to new recruits in case they deem you unsuitable. It then makes it easier to get shot of you. Maybe worth going to the interview and explain your situation and see what they say.stvgooner wrote:hi all i got a interview as a postman on a 35 hours a week but it only a 3 month contract at the moment i work for a parcel company dpd i been there 10 years this year but i would like to get of the night shift as it is to much for me i really would like to be a postman but i am very worried that i wont be kept on after 3 month please could you help me?

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.
