Friend wants to do Xmas Temping

I've got a friend who wants to do xmas temping. I've told him it's a circus, that Angard or whatever they are called are rubbish, but he still wants to do it. Is there any way to recommend a friend or anything like that, i.e. will it be any advantage to him that 'm already a postie and is there any process for that?

Why would it be too late just cos it's open to the general public?
