1.Come in up to an hour early
2.By your start time make sure all of your sequenced is prepped and most/all of your double prep walk if applicable
3.Spend the hour and a half you are supposed to be prepping another walk flitting between your own and that one but ensuring that yours takes priority.If you are on ip sorting, nip off every now and then to prep your walk.
4.When the sorting is finished, leave the p/t walk unfinished.maybe on a light day put all the mail in but never touch packets/re-directions/D2ds
5.Fly out the door an hour early.If questioned say 'if i dont go now i cant get done or take my absorbtion'.
6.Finish before 12.

P&L is sure going to be a shock for some people

I suppose in a way that was how a large percentage of fulltimers were in our office till about 2 months ago when they brought in an indoor revision to start with.

now NOBODY is aloud on the shop floor till 6am start time,,,,we have set ips men,,,set packet men,,,set porters and set preppers.

virtually nobody touches there own walk anymore,,,,ive been a regular on the ips and when finished i aint aloud to go to my own walk.
most days now i dont touch my own walk till were aloud to do redirections.
its taken a certain part of customer care out of it.
we have to work as an office,,,,every walk prepped and in at the same time,,,all parcels checked on AG walks then as an office all redirections are done,,,THEN as an office were aloud to bundle up,,,,,gunna be funny when they turn the screws and we all have to breathe in and out at the same time.

Were heading towards park and loop,,,possibly inside the next month,,,all duties are done,,,the pick has to take place soon,,,,,50% of the fulltime pick then 50% of the AG`s pick then whatever is left a few of the fulltimers get,,,leaving approx 8 fulltimers without a duty,,,,spme AG`s have only been here acouple of months if they stay will get a walk,,,,the 8 fulltimers have been here over 7 years,,,,poor agreement by the union i think.

Was it not Associate Grade, not a term I've heard used for years though?
Forgot what it actually entails, not casual but not full time, somewhere inbetween if my memory serves me right.

this should read im part time but i work the same hours as a full timer for less money

I cannot understand this one ? I am a fulltimer. So on a basic 8 hour day , i get 8 hours basic pay. Okay . So a partimer on say a 5 hour basic day works 3 hours overtime. Overtime is paid at a higher rate? So therefore he earns more than me?
