The BAth delivery office manager gets £45,000 per year it was advertised on RM jobs.

East Midlands - DM4 pay scale of £24,059 - £28,731, pro rata for part-time managers.
South London - Mail Centre based - ML4 pay scale (Inner London) £26,476 - £30,720
Delivery Manager DM4 pay scale (Outer London) £26,505 - £31,177 (Inner London)
£27,850 - £32,522, depending on office. All pro rata for part-time managers.
Jubilee Mail Centre – ML4 pay scale of £25,130 – £29,375, pro rata for part-time managers.

I've heard that they're grading system starts at DUH1 to DUH10 but I could be wrong

For all we slag them off i wouldn't or couldn't do it. 
Line manager...piss easy...i could train my dog to do that but the grief Dom's get from above is pathetic and i wouldn't last a day without telling a DSM to f**k right off.

You know fishtank you are correct, not all DOMs are crap. I know one or two who actually do their best on behalf of us all but as you say the shite they get from above is ludicrous. It is all very well for the people on this forum to say if they feel that bad then they should pack it up as managers. The same thing could be applied to us, it we do not like being postmen it leave and resign. It does not work like that, we all have mortgages and committments and familys to raise.
From a personal point of view my present DOM has probably done more for our office than our Rep. which means he is getting stick from his DSM but still tries to do the fairiest thing. Its about time we stopped tarring all DOMs with the same brush.
