Lack of elastic bands

Our office never gets any new elastic bands anymore just ones that have been swept up from other offices and put in plastic bags and are all shapes and sizes and are always busting.
Is this widespread or is our skinflint DOM trying to save money ?

We are down to last dozen or so bands each. Last time we asked for more (small office) they had to be ordered specially from Cardiff....hundreds of miles away and not in our area

We haven't had any elastic bands for ages and are having to make do with old knicker elastic.

Because the mail volume has dropped by another 1000 % in the last few months we will not need elastic bands anymore. A couple of paper clips will do.

No elastic bands, how are you suppose to make those rubber band balls or annoy people by flicking them at their legs when they are wearing their shorts?

We have boxes of them all over the place. I'd post you some but it would probably get lost or misdelivered..
