iam in an office which in their wisdom have given every-one trolly,s prams what ever you call them,we were told that as we were doing this new system there would be no summer share ,guess what now they want to do it ,no -one gets back before time but the powers above feel that this summer we can lapse duties and evey-one else will pick it up so we as an office can save money??? some will want the docket

Yes it sounds familiar, after the revision people swear they had been told there wouldn't be any summer lapsing, but of course it is pie in the sky because your revision is based on a model week and any shortfall will be made up with lapsing - whether there is a shortfall or not is debatable and there is supposed to be a method to analyse it BUT.....................................if you can do, if you can't then leave it.

no problem it will be left but they do try to get you to take out the summer share first ,even though no extra leave slots have been added for summer share

they think by getting you to take out the lapsing that you are less likely to cut off on your own duty as some cant be bothered to do more the following day.
