If, after having been suspended, you are asked to change office but this isnt feasible due to child care issues, can you refuse?

Disciplinary transfer to a job outside the manager's area of control - this should only be considered where it is clearly necessary in the interests of Royal Mail, the individual or other employees. Disciplinary transfer may lead to loss of earnings and pension entitlement and full account should be taken of any personal hardship before it is imposed.

Just like any other sanction you can appeal but the problem you may in theory have mclovin is that by removing the ability to transfer a member outside the manager's area of control you may be backing RM into a corner meaning they may have to look at other possible sanctions...

Are we talking about being 'asked' or are we talking about.
A disciplinary transfer after a conduct hearing.

The latter. It hasn't happened yet, awaiting FF interview. Just want to cover the bases. Unless mediation between myself and the other individual takes place I can see this being "best" outcome.
