If your revision is going in on a wing and a prayer, like so many, he has every right to be worried - and the reason is DOMs are responsible now for the revision and its satisfactory conclusion. If he gets it wrong his backside is hanging out to dry.

paisley do shafted by using "maintaing full time employment"as excuse for retaining 1 in 6 sats
it is your right to get 1 in 4 as per national agreement
this should not go to a vote you should be able to achieve 1 in 4

I'm in the PA area (don't want to be too specific) and we're still on 1 in 6. Rep claims there didn't need to be a vote because we filled out a survey before the revision. The knives would be out, but no-one wants to run for the position.

So just guessing here, were these surveys filled out under supervision of the CWU? or just at the meeting with the dom? beacause if it is the latter then that creates a few issues,

how can the rep know what the real result of the survey was?

unless he was shown the survey forms filled out by the individual members of staff, which then creates a data protection issue, did the employee when filling out that form give permission for the CWU to see the form? ok might be a grey area for cwu members there but what about non cwu members? as please remember its an office vote not just cwu members vote(thats another arguement though) so in that case was CWU rep shown surveys filled in by non members? that would definately be a Data Protection Issue, So again there is no way the rep can know what the office actually wanted as the office does need to have a vote on the issue.

Complained to Branch, they refered it back to area rep, so went above them Letter sent to HQ registered, No response from HQ, email sent to ask moya a week ago but not heard anything yet

RM can offer seats on the Board whilst you are offering a mere £3.90 a week....................unless it's gone up again.............so seat on the Board...........£3.90 a week that is a real toughie

got to put in disagreement then as you never voted etc one person cannot dictate terms of full office rep or not

thats the problem, who do you put the disagreement into? DOM saying take it up with Area rep, Area Rep agreeing with DOM, tried going above rep and getting bounced back to him by branch so going above branch and no reply as of yet

well no reply to any of our concerns now so we have called bulling and harrassment helplines, both RM and CWU and complained about rep and management hopefully that will get things moving, i really cannot understand the mentality of the PA area rep who wont lift a finger to help cwu members and backs management at every step.
