How much do we pay for an extra week or two leave?

I have the basic holiday entitlement and have increased it to the maximum 6 weeks. Costs about £12 per week so £620 a year and worth every penny!

It is cheaper if you have been there over 15 years, 20 years, etc as you need to buy less days!

2% of your weekly pay for every full week of extra holiday so 3% if you want to make your holiday entitlement to 6 weeks

As long as there's a leave vacancy in your group, you can have as many weeks off as you like. Just get a special leave form, and request a week off unpaid. As I said, unless there's no vacancy in your group they can't refuse, and they're happy as they're saving a weeks pay. I usually have at least 8 weeks off a year. 6 weeks annual leave, plus 2 unpaid. Can't beat having more time off than our "hard working" managers!
