Afternoon people.Not sure if I've posted this in the right forum but i have a hospital appointment coming up and i want to know if it is going to affect my sick record.I tried to get an afternoon one but they only had morning ones (sod's law).The reason I'm asking is because you know how underhanded the powers that be are and i only had an appointment 2 months ago,so I'm a bit worried.

If you work half your day then go sick it does not count as a "period of sickness"
Can you go in and prep/do IPS then say... oooh i don't feel well?

Usual scenario depending on your office...
Take a day of AL.
Swap your day off if possible.
Do half a duty
As for special leave with or without pay.
It's a hospital appointment,you shouldn't need to worry about it.And it's nothing to do with your sick record.

I will see if i can do part of my walk.It's ridiculous having to ask things like this,but you know how ridiculous our management have become these days!.
