finally, the revision is TOTALLY complete

well, its finally been finished, our revision is now fully in. we,re on 39hrs. we,ve got park n loop, 2 in the van, indoor flow is operational, ips changed, packet frames changed, all the prep frames altered and moved around. dedicated sorters, dedicated ''porters'' (guys going round the office clearing down colleagues mail and giving it to them on a trolley!) double preppers. its all done and dusted. we are getting our mail earlier, but there is still handbacks and people cutting off every day. no one is getting any overtime in the way of their days off in, only way you get it is by coming in early to do some ips, or going over you,re time. handbacks are covered by temporary rolling contract posties. its ONLY took us 18 months from intro to completion!! we,re told we are DEFINATELY getting our £600 on the 20th april and the other £200 6weeks later. im just glad we were one of the first offices to do the ghange, cos im totally and absolutely well and truly pist off with it all. its seemed like an eternity. months and months of arguing, disagreements, refusals, b&h, endless voting on this and that. to all you people that are just starting out, or havent even started you,re revision,,,i hope you,ve got loads of patience, and best of luck!!

Well it's April 2012 soooooooo presumably you began in 2010, which means that given the same scenario, some office starting now won't be entirely complete until late 2013/early 2014. With only 380 offices completed and 100 failing, of course those are only the COMPLETE revisions, that leaves another 1000+ to begin..............and this agreement ends when.........April 2013, lets hope the final arguments on BT2010 are resolved soon.

We began in 2010 also and have just completed the entire revision except the porters and new IPS frames, though we have had double preppers for over a year..............we haven't had the dosh yet but we live in hope

I think you have the wrong end of the stick PP, this wasn't part of WCM because it hadn't been agreed at the time. No it was something that somehow slipped through the cracks

Dedicated sorters, dedicated porters??? Do staff do the same job every day, by that i mean they either sort or port? Bit demoralising for staff if they are only seemed capable of portering and also they will have walked a fair few miles before they even start a delivery. Sure there was an agreement that staff would if wanted be able to do both on some rota system so they keep their skills up.

Should be a couple of weeks maisy, not sure if we're going to get the full 800 in one go or if it will be split. The reps going for the full monty because there are no stages, it's all in now. This was the second week, but I've been on leave so I don't know how well it's going.

I believe a lot of it depends on interpretation of what actually constitutes a revision. Our 200 quid took 4 months, will have to wait and see when the next payment arrives.

not sure on that one mate. cramlington office have had 800 quid up to now and they havent even started any of it yet.!! makes you wonder wtf is going on???
