Today I realised how well this 'modernisation' is going for my own eyes.
After rushing down to the post office to drop off a letter, I noticed the collections man next to his mini red van with a shopping trolley full of mail sacks, loading each sack into his van from the trolley.
Yes, that's right. A shopping trolley.
Forget Yorks, shopping trolleys are the latest mail logistics innovation. I've spoken to my local DO manager to discuss the possibility of buying RM branded trolleys for added pride.
I'd prefer the ram raid tactic, where you reverse through the doors and up to the counter but bloody H&S stepped in, they just don't understand how little time we've got

And i bet Royal Mail didn't even provide the pound coin to get the trolly released.

That made me laugh. Oh and im not having a go at him, hes a decent bloke and we often chat about how they are having later starts and being expected to do more etc. Just thought it would be a bit of fun to stick it up on here? :)

Lol. Its not really my opinion, just something I found on the net. Ive seen it with my own eyes how hard working some people are within rm, just a shame most dont get noticed.. Oh and were not rough enough to need to put a pound in for the trolley. Not like in some areas Ive seen, kids with trolleys in their back gardens.. What is the world coming to.. Anyway, thats a different story alltogether.

Just out of interest, do you hold any more opinions that you believe in strongly enough to put forward as your representation on the net for the world to see and yet cast aside as soon as someone makes reference to it ?

not at all, my post's are full of errors and rightly so, folks post on here to be heared not be judged by the likes of me, however I can't be doing with folks that are so keen to say or "avatar" one thing and then ditch it at the drop of a hat and to judge others from "rough" areas and yet complain when stones come through their glass house

TBH you started the grammar bit, I don't know what's going on between you and shipmaster but you really shouldn't take things so seriously...........otherwise I usually end up in the naughty room (and I was doing so well ).

Im unsure of what the problem is. Do you want me to spellcheck everything or should I have a blank avatar? The avatar came about from a quick search under royal mail, and I used it with the intention of it just being something funny. However, when the avatar was mentioned I stressed that it wasnt my opinion - I am a ppi customer who has a generally good overall opinion of royal mail.
