In our office we work the 6 week system where you work 5 weeks and bank a day each week and then get the 6th week off.

I will have had 2 weeks on the sick,so what happens.Do i still get my full week off or do i owe them a couple of days.

Don't owe anything, but remember it works both ways, if your sick over your rota week off you don't get that back either

no he wont, his "days off" are all lumped together on his week off, he has been sick on his normal working days he doesnt owe anything, it works both ways because if he is off for a period of sick coveing his rota week off he is not entitled to them back, just same as when ever you are on sick leave you dont get your days off back only your annual leave

There is a bit of an anomaly though.
If someone on the day off scheme goes off sick on a Monday and returns the following Monday they are absent for 7 days and paid sick pay for 40hrs.
If someone on the week off scheme goes off sick on a Monday and returns the following Monday they are absent for 7 days and paid sick pay for 40hrs...and receive a banked day off to go into their rest week off.
I think the new PSP system may address this anomaly.

yes but on the same hand they those who were not sick have worked 48hours and only been paid for 40 that week, its not really an anomaly as no one is "gaining" as if sick on their rota week off, they have been paid for 40hours but worked none

Of course someone is gaining if you "bank" a day off during sick leave.
Rota week is not relevant,if someone is sick on their day off they aren't paid either.
These anomalies also appear in other attendance patterns like the nine day fortnight.
