During park & loop revision is it that any delivery over a mile from the office is designated a van share duty and any within a mile off the office stays as a high capacity trolley? Its just that we have some rural area walks that have hct at the moment, there mail is brought out by a rural driver and then bags dropped off at a bag drop for them to replenish, and a manager is saying they will stay as a hct duty. Im thinking this is only cause its an easy way out for the manager and planner to organise. Does it actually state in agreement that any walk over a mile from office MUST be in a van share.

We have a few HCT deliveries that are over a mile from the office. Two of us are taken out in a van to where the HCTs are stored overnight. We then get replenished half way round and taken back afterwards.

I thought the whole idea of park and loop was to stop vans dropping bags off amongst other things. Why don't you use a light weight trolley?
