If you leave RM, do they work out the holidays you are owed and pay you it, or do you lose them.

I presently have about 9 days holidays to book, some of which have probably been carried over - which they allow at our place.

I don't even know if I'm leaving for pastures new yet, but if you don't get paid them, I'd be aswell trying to book a week.

IIRC they pay you any outstanding holiday... But I very often remember things incorrectly so I'm sure someone will correct me...
Does this rag smell of chloroform to you?

It is so rare nowadays that I see a woman begging for correction.

Just a slight correction - sorry mistress - They pay you your accrued holiday that you have not used. So work out your holiday entitlement divide it by 12 or 52 and then multiply the result by either the number of weeks (or months) that you will complete in the leave year.

IE - if entitled to 6 weeks on a 5 day week = 30 days and you hand notice in for end of Jan than means your entitled to 10 months worth which is 25 days. If you have taken the 30 already you will owe them, if you have taken less than 25 then they owe you.
