Dying on its arse
I get the feeling that with failed deliveries, failed revisions, no savings, unrealistic demands for overtime reductions etc etc and crap management the Royal Mail is dying on its arse. Anyone else agree?

Re: Dying on its arse
It's either dying on it's arse due to management incompetence or it's being made to look like it's dying on it's arse due to a very clever management manipulation strategy designed to make it look like they have dragged it from the brink of collapse and turned it around much like Leighton and Crozier pretended they had.
Based solely on the experience i've had with management lately..it's the first one.

when your company allows tesco and rbs to get cheap mailing rates, you have to wonder what the hell is going on.

I blame the postmen.
They just don't work hard enough.
They just don't work hard enough.
The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.

The company will always exist its just that it limps from one decade to another without operating with any commercial reality, despite it being a Govco. Even Moya says RM is 18 mnths behind schedule on modernisation. And thats before the next "biggest transformation in its 350 yr history". Lol

i really hope that this is a start of the managers starting to believe that it is not all our fault that this bollocks is not our doing
does any one out there know if it is true , or just a false hope again.
Wouldn't surprise me in the least.

I think Royal Mail will still be around in one form or another, as the packets still needs to be delivered, due to the eBay effect.
