Any reports of high mail/packet volumes?
Any offices that may fail this year?

All seems quiet this year, have the DUM's got it right at last.

My own office is doing very well this year, almost clear every day upto now.

Whats going on, easiest Xmas i have ever had :nana :dance :Very Happy :cool

just like normal days in our office, mail n packets clear every day, very light today

More or less so far so good as far as clearing things go. Although today was a bit busy, especially with packets. Mind you, always seems busier when we have to do the MCs work too.

We failed Friday and Saturday, on letters, packets clear but at least a dozen trays of letters left each day, cut off at 8am, and that's after about 15 staff coming in for a 1hr SA at 5am to get a head start on the sorting!

nowhere near as bad as last year for packets over here plenty of young mums going out with the car full for yodel and other carriers

Could it be recesssion means less money spend on Christmas cards and advertising is below normal this months plus no bad snow and people ordering present lot earlier than normal make it look light.

I spoke to a yodel driver today. He was working a 12 hour day for 50 quid! It was 1. 30 and i was on my way home. That is just about minimum wage. I didnt know weather to feel fortunate that i am FT at RM, or worried that i may have that sort of renumeration offered to me to sometime in the future!
