My "friends" parents regularly go to Tenerife to their holiday home about 6 times a year. If my "friend" asked his parents to bring back 10 pouches of tobacco and post it to him on their return, would it get sniffed out in a mail centre or do mail centres not have such facilities?

his parents would be well over the duty free limit tenerife is 200 cigs not like spain im not sure about tobacco but i doubt its 5 packs each

I delivered a rather pungent packet of finest Jamaican herbs today,to a stoner who gets his supplies delivered regularly,so I think you'll be alright with tobacco.

Is Tenerife not classed as EU then?
I brought back 20 pouches from menorca last month, you were allowed 1kg each. 20 x 50g = 1kg

I bought some baccy on the net a few years ago, first lot 10 pouches arrived no problem, second lot got pulled at customs and landed at my local sorting office with a fee being required for duty of about £30! I left it there, no doubt the posties shared it amongst themselves!

its 250 grms each so for two people would be double 500 grms not bad really better than the 200 cigs each

My old place this guy used to get 200 fags sent to him from where ever it was,it was very obvious what it was though.
Went on for a while then it started to get the customs charge thing.
Then it stopped lol.

Or the 'friend' could emigrate to Tenerife and enjoy cheap tobacco and better weather.
