LONG & SHORTS AND MAX FINISH TIMES

most of you will know ime giving our revision planner a real hard time by going through the six step revision process to the letter.

ime trying to give him a bloody nose over his comments on long and shorts according to traffic figures

i know that the max last delivery for town is 3 pm and rural is 4 pm according to the U.S.O.

i came across a thread or L.T.B. that stated even after the revision, start times should not be AFTER A 7 AM START

is the 7am start for full time town walks, as some of our full time rurals start at 7.45am on a mon,tues and sat depending on day off.

the latest thing they are throwing at me say on town walks is the last letter is at three but you do 9 to 5 and do collections on the way back

The key word is SHOULD, That doesn't mean they can't & don't.

It also states that...

The vast majority of letter deliveries are planned to be completed by 1430 hours and most by 1400 hours.

It would be interesting to see if that holds water now.

Also another agreement that is open to RM abuse. THE VAST MAJORITY. No doubt your Dim/Planners will categorize your walks as being in the TINY MINORITY

thats actually incorrect, the USO is only 1 delivery per day to every delivery point, there is no part of the uso which states a latest time unfortunately
