Can you claim back youre holidays if youre unwell during them? and i dont mean ive just cut myself shaving...

Yes but you have to inform management as soon as you are sick,not wait until after you go back and remember that it will be counted as sick absence.

It is either or, either you are off sick or on holiday.
As posted if you remain off sick you must let them know you will not be taking your a/l and that you are off sick.
Remember you may self cert for 7 days, beyond this you need a doctors cert.
If you are off sick try to maintain contact and keep them as up to speed with your situation as you possibly can or as up to speed as they have requested.
yes you will get you a/l back however without permission you may not carry it forward and should have taken it by w/c 1st April. Generally 5 days may be carried forward to the next year. You may find that this extra week would be at the choosing of the business and not you unless you've picked the same week they have.
