Anyone here from Northern Ireland, our road service driver has told us today that there have been a number of managers suspended in Northern Ireland, anyone any idea what for.

We are just about as far from NI as possible.In our area a number of DOMS have been dismissed,over allege
not clearing dead letters !

I know of another LIno,with about as much senirority as you can get ,was sacked and after around 5 months was reinstated after around 5 months.

All managers are under so much preassure,with limited resources ,and stupid planners coming up with massive walks ,wich on busy days cannot be done!

Typical senior management in this part of the world, make things so difficult that the staff are so cheesed off they will only work to their time and rightly so. When the mail fails it is the local manager and local staffs fault, do mangers not have a union, there again it is probably like the CWU, invisible.

Maybe it's time the managers all stood up to the senior managers for what they're doing, it's now at the stage that if they don't then they will also be out on their arse because RM will collapse under all the incompetent decisions made by the top boys (who don't care just as long as they get their bonuses).
