Mailsort on a Saturday

Does anyone still leave mailsort on Saturdays? We used to leave it 'til Monday but have been told that from now on it must be delivered because it's part of the agreement?

Wtf is this all about, different rules on mail in different offices? Everything has gone out in our office on a Sat for about 5 years.

Is this the stuff with a big letter M on it ? or do you mean all the tnt ,dhl , ukmail etc stuff as well ?

These days there is so little actual Mailsort with the M on it it makes little odds .All the other crap has to go

There is very little point in leaving Mailsort on a Saturday, as there is so little of it and also if it doesn't get delivered on a Saturday then chances are that whoever is sending it will switch to DSA, it'll then have to go and RM would get less money for it, meaning that they would probably look to take more hours out of DOs which would mean potentially jobs being axed and possibly longer walks.

If taking the Mailsort doesn't take you over your time then the DOMs can make you take it out to use your paid hours (some part of the P&M agreement).

Ours doesn't go out on a Saturday but then we struggle to finish on time on a Saturday now.

Our Saturdays are now heavier than a Monday but is 1 hour shorter
