annual leave 2012/13

how is the amount of staff allowed off in one week worked out,for 2012/13 in my office of 34 posties we have been told only four a week,thats f/t and p/t put together.never took much notice before but i,m sure it,s been more than four.

Very Interesting...... Is there a set formula ????
Have a constant battle in our office with the DOM adjusting/playing about with the list without agreement . Our holls are poor you do get the first two weeks you want as a general rule but the rest is just pot luck.....
We have around 110 employees in our office and the number of slots average about 10 in total FT and PT.....Not Enough

Isnt that what lapsing was designed for, to allow more staff off in the summer?

1 person off for every 7 staff you should have 5 staff off a week. And more if you lapse
