I had a recorded packet on Sat which i had to leave a docket for as they were away but today the fella stopped me in his car saying he's been to the office and it can't be found
I'm pretty sure i handed it back in although with it being a new part of my much extended walk i can't be 100% sure although it aint in my bags/van/frame/house! etc etc
What happens? i told the bloke i'd have a look and also to ring the number on the back of the docket.
Do you hand it dirrectly to the callers office - if not it may just be delayed - at our place the Saturday ones sometimes don't turn up till Tuesday.
Also it is possible that the item has been misfiled in the callers office, there are lots of possibilities to be honest.

We hand it back into the PHG locker all with the card with a band around it all.
I can't think where it would be other than the office somewhere - i know i haven't got it! things like this play on my mind!!
if you hadnt handed into the office wouldnt whoever is in the office have asked you where it was? ie item undelivered on card and no item returned with card?

Not sure why they havent to be honest! maybe they only realised when the bloke came to collect it today with the card.

We HAVE to fill out a form with address, type of mail ie letter or packet and whether recorded, special etc when we return our non deliverables to the locker. As above, we are covered

Same at our office , does help the callers staff a great deal to be fair even though its a pain in the Derry Air
This has happened to me once before. I always take everything back to the DO, but theres no actual paper record of what I take back. So I just pointed out that, well, I've never lost anything before, I definitely bought it back. They can't prove, because there's no paper record of what I actually take back, that it was me who lost it and it hasn't got mislaid somewhere else afterwards.. manager accepted this and nothing more was said..
Saying that it did have me worried for a while, but one out of hundreds... and I'm fairly sure it wasn't my fault!
