A bit of a strange question.

I don't know if anyone knows the actual answer to this. But I was thinking to myself last night about overtime and sick days.

Ok my contracted hours are 25 a week, Say for instance I do my basic hours, plus some overtime but also have a sick day in that week. For Example:

Monday - 5 hours basic + 2 hours overtime = 7 hours
Tuesday - 5 hours basic + 2 hours overtime = 7 hours
Wednesday - OFF
Thursday - 5 hours basic + 1 hour overtime = 6 hours
Friday - 5 hours
Saturday - SICK

Total Hours = 25

So my question is having actually worked my 25 hours for that week, could they really kick up a stink about the sick day?

Lol fair enough! Just wondered thats all. Because if I've actually done my 25 hours then surely they can't moan. Plus my contract don't say what days. Just 25 hours a week...

If you're sick during your contracted hours it's classed as a sick absence.
Overtime is not classed as contracted hours.
If RM operated a flexi-time work pattern you would have a case.
They don't and you don't.
