Daily huddle ( once a week)

Every Wednesday the DOM comes round and says in the huddle " mail is down, very light today" with a figure plucked out of thin air as the amount of letters which has come in, needless to say he forgets the mail carried over from the day before.
This is a ruse to try and stop people cutting off.
I left one row today(1 loop) out of 7 for my part of p/l which was 12 bundles and 22 packets which would have been 3 bags.
According to the planners they have worked out my whole round on 20 packets total
They keep saying about the letters but the packet situation is getting silly now as our van on wed and thurs is 2/3rds full of just packets

The title should just be Weekly Huddle.

One way to find out is to count 250 letters into a tray and weigh it, make a not of the weight... then weigh every tray of mech you get..that will give you an idea of how many letters you are getting in a tray... more than 250 or less.

No..that is a mathematical impossibility.
The percentage decrease is a percentage of an ever decreasing function of the primary.
It is known as an exponential decay.



Eventually mail volumes are predicted to trough at 1866 levels where park&loop will be replaced by one guy on a horse for each postcode area.

Don't take it out then, although most vans can handle 500kg of load (including the driver) or find your local weighbridge, the address should up in the office

Very unlikely, we got two days mail in a combo and were still 50kg under with both of us, what they could get you on is uneven distribution though, as all that weight in the back makes the steering very light
