Contract Renewal...

Hey all! I've had my fixed term contract renewed, though I've had my hours reduced to 25 hours a week. One thing that crossed my mind is that I have not actually signed any renewal yet. Originally I signed a 3 month fixed term, 35 hours a week contract. Its been renewed for another 3 months but on 25 hours. Was just wondering should I of signed something? Or is it just rolling???

Also I have just noticed on my last contract it says something about your Continuity of Employment Began on 26/06/2011. Does this mean that basically it just keeps rolling and I don't need to sign a renewal?

You should get two copies of the same letter, sign one and send it back, if you haven't had two copies then see your DIM or Lino to get it sorted, but don't hold your breath

You should get two copies of the same letter, sign one and send it back, if you haven't had two copies then see your DIM or Lino to get it sorted, but don't hold your breath

Yeah Thats what I got before when I first started. Nothing as yet this time around. If I don't get a wage slip tomorrow then I should worry lol!! If the DOM don't know I'll call HR perhaps? Because technically I'm not bound by anything at the moment.

You will get paid, this has happened to me on several occasions, you are assuming that HR and wages talk to each other, they don't

Yeah I'm starting to realise that assuming things is a bad move lol
