Bullying - Getting Fed up Now

It's getting beyond a joke now already! My walk has been modernised and it's now a van share with another walk and it's just crazy.

Management don't seem to grasp the fact that we can't do both deliveries in the time they say - 4 hours it should take according to the planners. Today for example we finished the prep and told them we won't be able to complete so they said take the top 3 rows out and we were like don't think so, so in the end we took the top 2 out, left the bottom 2 rows in and we just about finished for our time - in fact we went slightly over when we had to write up our docket lefts.

Every day i am having to go up to them saying what do you want us to leave in well pi$$ed off. My buddy on the other walk is not happy either and we'll be seeing the Union Rep tomorrow first thing as this can't carry on.

Oh and another thing - one gaffer told us to do it on a bike after i'd started to bag some up and then the other said no you'll be van sharing clueless.

Just had to get that off my chest, the job is a joke now.

its not just you mate are revision has been in for months now and still the guys cant complete.
there first plan of action was the management team and phg to do prep of mech and door to doors first thing but still they had to break off.
then the rounds that were going over were told to forget about doing i.p.s and just prep there round but still it did not work
only now the rest of us that were completing most days are struggling because we have to pick up the extra sorting.
now the dom has finally given the ones struggling some extra delivery time to complete but wait for it he has taken it from there prep time givin to us by the dame computer.
on the busy days as mail is picking up i am finding it harder to get out on time now ive been told ill have to do an extra 30 mins a day on the i.p.s and ill get 20 to 30 mins less prep time as a result .
christmas will be a disaster if im still around then.

had a meeting this morn and we were told any revision in our office will be next summer,,,,bearing in mind we should have had it last year,,,then this year...LOL

we were also told that only 1 office in the area had the revision,,,,and they make it work ??? but under certain conditions,,,,i dont wanna write them here because i reckon the office would be known.

we were told last year not to belive the press when they write about the revisions are causing chaos up and down the country LOL another management lie

so just by keep postponing ours theres either no money to do it,,,orrrr they know the crap it causes,,,,so i feel sorry for any office with the revision in

I know of an office down south where P&L is failing even on light days, now if mail is brought back it gets taken out first thing the following morning by one bloke while the other attempts to prep two frames, then when the bloke delivering finishes he comes back, helps finish the prep, result is they both get out later than before and less mail is delivered, this was the DOM's idea.

I've also heard it said that when the planners set up the day, they forgot to factor in tiredness, and had us working at 100% capacity for the whole duty, instead of reducing it hourly.

Looks like all those frames that a certain office threw in the skip will have to be re-ordered

Total sympathy guys......We've had our Revision "Suspended" several times (over about 18 months) and we've now been told it's not likely to be considered until after Christmas! Apparently it's costing so much to TRY and make the Revision work in other offices in the Area. There's no money left to "Allow"any more Offices to claim OT to make their Revisions work!

Personally I believe they won't even bother trying to introduce any more Revisions. RM have shot their bolt and I believe they'll simply try and "Re-Jig" the existing duties within the remaining "Non-Revised" DOs. Which to be honest is probably what they should have done in the first place! But have they still let the manning levels drop too low for even this to work? In my DO they could solve the problem by making a few PTers up to FT but I expect they don't want they extra wage bill!

Still, what about the reduction in hours for FTs (and increase in pay for PTs) and all the bonuses that where supposed to be paid out on the implementation another f*** up by both the union and RM

You can name the office no problem,you're not in the office are you?
