just occured to me that my PDA most days when I have finished my round hasnt downloaded my signed for items including specials until I return near to my office due to a crap area for a signal, so the specials dont get downloaded till about 2-2.30pm.
Does this matter ?

There's nothing you can do about crappy signals (or dodgy PDAs, last week mine took nearly 24 hours to actually download).
