Hi, 2 weeks ago i put in an official transfer request to Sheffield HR to see if i can move from RM Letters to Parcelforce.
I have had no response or acknowledgement of my request as yet.
Does anyone have any experience of transfer request situations and how long they should take, or what i should do next, should i chase them up or just wait a bit longer, thanks.

Although a different function,could you not go to your nearest PF office and see the managers there to maybe speed things up.
Rule of thumb is HR are useless at this transfer business.

Just go to Sheffield and see the DOM or whatever in the office and ask about the job, if they are short staffed, they could push for transfer harder. Don't rely on the company to do it for you.

Had a letter back from HR finally, confirming they have recieved my transfer request and that they will let me know if something at the Parcelforce office i chose becomes available.... which is ridiculous as my friend works at the office i want to transfer to and he said they are crying out for drivers..... maybe like Postman says its time to try going direct to Parcelforce myself
