Seen a memo to management that states that we will be taking on twice as many xmas casuals than last year. No doubt they will still be working indoors instead of out on delivery where they are needed. However this document & the posters that have gone up state that anyone wishing to apply must do so through Angarad staffing solutions. No need to say that they will be on minimum wage.

And even some very large Delivery Offices will be getting NO extra staff this December so, with all the cutbacks over the previous year, the backlog after Christmas Eve will be even worse than last time, and mangement might not be able to blame it all on the weather.

Sure all they want us to do is our hours, Christmas will be relaxing this year for some (for me it's been relaxing for a couple of years

It'll be relaxing for me aswell as I don't/won't do overtime to bail them out anymore. Now the kids are older xmas is'nt such a big deal anymore, the main thing is I've earned enough to pay the rent/bills. Management have created this mess and I'm not going to help clear it up.
