whats going on tuesday supposed to be the quietest day of the week,brochures,screwfix,saga 4 x door to door = 5 hr delivery + 25 mins lapsed duty + PACKETS AND SIGNITURES GALORE,MAIL VOLUMES GOING DOWN DO YOU ALL BELIEVE THIS CRAP

tuesday supposed to be the quietest day of the week

it has never be quietest on tue not for packets or special it can be some time on the letters .

Can you do your duty within it's time? If you can't then leave enough behind to finish on time

We've got to get it out of our heads that a day is heavy or not, our days are whatever hours RM want them to be and once they're over then we finish.

Tuesday's usually the busiest day for Special Deliveries.

I've come to despise tuesdays.
When you have an IWT and Delivery Methods revision you will understand.
Not enough indoor work on a tuesday is the major problem.

I like fridays.
Some fridays my delivery span shrinks all the way down to 3hrs.
It's like 1995 all over again.

Quieter than normal on SD today at my D.O but normal mail was up.

every day I now cut off , if we finish before which is maybe once in a blue moon its a bonus.
Before Park and Loop I cut off maybe 4 times in 8 years
Since Park and Loop I have completed 4 times in 8 months.
Sickness and injuries have increased significantly ,2 have left one has been suspended for swearing at the manager , 3 longterm sick including broken collarbone, shin splints and achilies problems and that is out of 38 and they havent replaced any and they want all the duties covered

lovely quiet tuesday we left a loop each & all our big packets !!! area manager came down and asked if we all could complete !!! i was home well before the managers

We`ve been told there is no such thing now as summer lapsing.
Lapsing can be done 52 weeks of the year if the mail volumes fall below the model week figures..Anyone for lapsing at christmas
