Then they are mugs. Unless trolleys are not able to be used (hills) they should use them and cut off if they do not want to work past their contractual times.

If they want OT, lap it up. Use trolleys, which takes longer, and enjoy.




Sadly this takes guts and a united office. Both are almost extinct.

I have 700+ houses and 9 loops on my walk - on light days I only get 6 bundles for the whole walk. How many bags means nothing about the size of the walk, deliver to a sh*thole estate and you get very little mail. Deliver to big houses with professional people living there and you get hammered with half a bundle for every house.

Trollies, well everyone should really be using them - we have never been given them, or any training, or been asked to use them. It doesn't bother me as I never have more than 2 bundles in a bag and it's under the 8kg, I know others are hoofing big bags around though and it's not even to finish early cos they don't.

Using a trolley does take longer than either a car or using a bike. However you only need to carry half a bag at most as you block a section (loop) before moving the trolley. If your lucky you can leave it at a 3 way junction and kinda starburst from it. Yes you take longer but your not killing yourself carring a heavy bag.
