Changing of office work schedule
Just came into a letter on everyone's desk, saying that no prep shall go ahead until all sorting has been completed, this is totally different to normal methods of working, is this allowed, our union reps on hols.

Well, it is up to your manager to dictate your working day... When your time is up, bring it back if you didn't have time to finish. Maybe his mission is not to deliver the mail....?

All the IPS will be done by the early starters by the time you come in.

My office we have 30mins on prep then we go on the IPS.At times we've gone straight on the IPS,no problem tbh,especially if the walksort hasn't arrived.
If the walksort is there and they still want the IPS done 1st again no problem.
If we have to cut off because of it we cut off.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
