Old D/L

Just been going through an old blue pouch of mine thats been boxed up for years. I found an old D/L, forgot how large they were, never really used them much as everyone was normally in.

Also found the 1st day cover from when my old office was rebuilt and a nice porcelain mug from the opening.....a pressie from RM

`Found them in an old pouch` - don`t you mean they take up two pages in your stamp album ?

I was looking through my pants drawer the other day and found a small box with a Consignia tie pin in it.... I think thats what it is anyway. I didn`t chuck it out, a feeling of imense pride and loyalty came over me. I might put it in my stamp album

I don't own a stamp album and the only stamps i've got are the ones i get at xmas, got a few years worth though cos I've got no friends because I'm too knackered to go out in the evening

I thought everyone has a stamp album - mine has lots of unused stamps that dont stay stuck on plastic wrapping. I`ve got no friends either so they never get used.

I've stashed a roll of the old "kill off" stickers in my locker to be pulled out in many years time so I can kill off in fashionably retro style and be the envy of all.

I know I'm cool.

Kill Offs should still have `desseesed` on them - it took me years after to learn how to spell it right.

Did you ever see the Welsh version of that D/L card ? Littereley twice as long to get both languages on. I wouldn`t have room for one of them in my stamp album.
