D2D Question

Just a quickie to ask what is the rule on d2d's being left in the frame for the following week?
I have just come back from hols and found quite a lot left in my frame!!!

Our union rep told me not to deliver any outstanding from the previous week as we only had to make sure we covered our 1/6 per day. If your manager hasnt bothered to supervise their staff properly you shouldnt have to do more work! would speak to your union rep and see what they suggest just so you cover your own a**.

You are correct that a manager should have ensured the D2D leaflets were delivered but:
assuming they are still in date and assuming they give you adequate time to prep and deliver them (allowing for the extra weight on delivery), what right would you have to refuse to touch them?

How many sets of D2D have been left?
Are they full sets or have they been partially delivered?

RM tells us d2d are classed as mail and to do 6th a day if the manager or linos cant be bothered to check they are being done its their problem not yours

It's not our decision to make.
What someone else failed to do is not our concern.
It would be an interesting grievance.

I think it depends on when they turned up?

We've had some turn up on thurs or fri and been told just to roll them over and do the allotted adresses each day. Our D2Ds are done tues to fri, bottom row of frame on tues, next day second row up, etc.
