Interested to hear what the sick records are at the moment in the royal mail all over the uk ,, ours is pretty bad

Poor since SDD went, poorer since 2007P&M agreement and I think the general trend when BT2010 CDV is introduced will follow this particular pattern.

Sickness in my office comes and goes but it is always worse when changes have been made, a few years into the changes and they do improve (but with the constant changes we've had they'll never get the chance to get back to a proper level).

its getting worse, full timers know how to use sick absence, its recent policies that changed many posties, from d2d, dsa, getting rid of bikes, making bibs and cycle helmets mandatory.
Thus full timers will become scarce, and casuals will increase.
