well, exactly as the title suggests, my first 2 days as a Postie have been great! it's so good to finally be out working again! had my trainer with me yesterday and thursday, but today is my first day out on my own, but i think i'll be OK. just a quick question, i have a holiday booked in a couple of weeks, and i was told that they will honour it, will i get paid for it, as i am only on a temporary Contract?

If you're a Royal Mail employee on a fixed term contract you will be paid for your holidays however if you leave the business before you've accrued the amount of holidays you've used...you'll have to pay them back.POSTMAN wrote:Moving on,can someone help him with the holiday pay query.

So if you have 2 weeks you'll have to make it to around the 6 month mark to cover it.
