The CWU is doing absolutely nothing as usual. Last Fri was D day as far as the London talks were concerned, either an agreement was made or it wasn't. Whatever the outcome was we'd like to be informed! All the CWU seems to do now is continually fall for RM'S delaying tactics, and agree to endless talks. Enough is enough!

There is an in principle agreement on London subject to ratification on Monday. There is a joint Divisional and PEC meeting on Tuesday and an LTB will then likely go out.

Once all the talking is over etc and no solution can be found then and only then should we consider striking... I'm still feeling the financial effects of the last strike which got us precisely NOTHING!

Is that IN PRINCILE AGREEMENT Dingo, similar to the last 3 or 4 agreements, whereby Royal Mail try it out and if it doesn,t suit they cause mayhem and go for another IN PRINCIPLE AGREEMENT and so on and so on, until they get the agreement that totally f.cks up the workforce and the union. Something that they have been striving for, for for or five years, but have not quite been able to nail it down. Still if they keep trying, our cwu leaders will eventually lead them to the promised land.
