I've heard a rumour that it's being done away with, at least in London. Anyone else heard this or have any news?
I staged a Roger Moore impersonator festival in my local village. There were a lot of eyebrows raised, I can tell you.

No idea but I would have thought that the Regulator would have had to approve it first! How many mis-sorts do they get in all the London offices? Could mean huge amounts of 'failed' mail.

Our mis-sort run was scrapped a couple of months back..now it's just the intra mis-sorts we sort within the office, but that seems to take just as long :crazy:

It would make so much sense (which probably means it won't happen)! Thousands of man hours are wasted every day hanging around for a few late letters causing hundreds to be brought back in cut-offs :crazy:

I'd love it to go as I have to do the run but I reckon I might lose my drive at the next re-sign if the mis-sort run went :d'oh!

Well they did away with the 2nd delivery and renamed it mis-sort run, perhaps the next name they use will be the giro run, especially with this Canadian job wrecker in charge.

Well said... the earlier anyone gets out the more work we can be given to fill the 'extra' time or the time saved will be lost through job cuts! :so there

I deliver to an ex postie who retired years ago and each time I tell him about what kind of changes are and have been made he goes a funny colour ha ha, that will be you soon :wink:
