I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
My BFF Clash
The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

No i genuinely really enjoy the job, you cant beat it fresh air, music and freedom ! just wanted to see if others feel the same way, it has its ups and downs but its great compared to other jobs out there !

Enjoying certain aspects of the job and being proud to be a postman are 2 entirely different propositions.
The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.

I think your idea of freedom needs some adjustment. My idea of freedom would be sitting on a beach with a cold beer not walking around for hours witha heavy bag posting letters!If you think you are free, tell the DOM on monday that you dont fancy taking out any packets or d2ds next week! :Very Happy
