What hope have eee listening to this " More flexible leave patterns were part of the way forward agreement in the last revision, allowing more colleagues of during the summer given notice they could staff such periods with summer casuales etc or lapse the dreaded lapse of hours but its another false right never followed in the agreement.

They can deny periods of leave that you have selected but they cannot stop you taking your statutory leave entitlement over the year, or any that is in your contract.

You are legally entitled to have leave, to deny you would put RM on the wrong side of the law, it also would not be good for the staff as they cannot keep up the operational tempo,
required without a break, staff morale drops even further, they will gain nothing from this.
