It's not been about too long dv but the general intention has.
It's not so much the detail with this doc,none of it is that new or shocking to most of us,but the direction the business is taking and the complete lack of compassion for the employees is obvious for anyone to see.
If there are those at CWU HQ who still believe in partnerships and genuine involvement they need shot.

Well I have neither seen nor heard of it until tonight ft, and although not a member of the union at the mo, I try to stay in touch so to speak. There has recently been a purge on overtime and prep tests and IPS tests, which have been pretty much a given until now. So it looks as though there has been a managerial prod lately.

Don't suppose anyone is missing a cattle prod by any chance?

As others have said this does explain some extra OT squeezing that has been going on recently. Would like to point out this part

Does the DOM authorise all overtime

Personally that seems like an example of RM trying to build systems to intimidate people. We have 100+ posties in my DO are we all supposed to individually see the DOM before we go out? How the hell is that supposed to work? And how are you supposed to know exactly how much you are going to go over in a day?
